Inspiring Future Aviators: DIC's Kids World School Visits Our Aviation Centre

On 14th April, we at Yoskies Aviation Centre had the pleasure of welcoming the young kids from DIC's Kids World School for an amazing field trip at our Centre. The students were excited to learn more about the aviation profession and to fly a simulator for the first time. Our crew was happy to share our knowledge and skills with these prospective aviators, and we can't wait to tell you about their wonderful experience.

The day began with a quick overview of our Aviation Centre and the various programmes we provide. Our instructors presented their own experiences in the aviation sector as well as the various career options available. The children were ecstatic to learn about the various job opportunities, such as pilots, air traffic controllers, and aviation engineers.

Following the introduction, we proceeded towards the main event - the flying simulators! The students were divided into groups, and each group had the opportunity to use the Airbus A320 and Cessna 172 simulators. Our instructors walked them through the fundamentals of flying and how to use the controls. The realistic simulation and the sensation of flying astounded the youngsters.

But the fun didn't stop there. Our instructors also taught students about flight safety and aerodynamics. The children learned about the various sections of an aeroplane and how they work together to enable flying. They also learnt the significance of pre-flight checks and the many weather situations that can impact a trip.

The tour concluded with a Q&A session in which our instructors answered any questions the kids had about flying or the aviation industry. The inquiries varied from technical ones regarding flight simulators to more general ones about a pilot's life.

Everyone engaged and had a wonderfully inspirational day. Students had the opportunity to fly and learn about the aviation industry from seasoned professionals. The student's passion and interest pleased our team, and we hope to have inspired the next generation of pilots and aviation professionals.

We believe in the potential of hands-on learning at our Aviation Centre. We're dedicated to offering aspiring aviators with high-quality training and education, and we're happy to have had the opportunity to share our enthusiasm with the youngsters of DIC's Kids World school. Who knows, maybe some of them will one day be the pilots who take us to our destinations.
